Featured Products
Tip: In this guide, you will control homepage featured product order with sort values. Estimated time: 3 minutes.
If you want certain products to appear first on the homepage, increase their sort value. Higher numbers usually rank higher.
For the first round, choose 1 to 2 key products per category instead of featuring every product.
Before sorting, confirm the products are published and the homepage product module Detail Page is set to /products. Otherwise, a featured product may open as 404.

Overview
1. Adjust Sort
Open Products, find the product you want to feature, and increase the number in the Sort column.

The higher the number, the more likely it appears first. Only adjust key products; do not set every product very high.

2. Refresh Homepage
After saving and publishing, refresh the homepage and check the order.
If the homepage does not change, check:
- The product is published.
- The homepage uses the featured product module.
- The module does not filter out this category.
- The module sort mode supports manual sort.
3. Click Frontend
Sorting is only the first step. Open the frontend and click:
- The homepage shows the intended featured products.
- Product titles and images are correct.
- Clicking a product opens its detail page.
- Mobile layout is not too crowded.
Featured products are not done just because they display. Visitors must be able to open the detail page.
Pitfalls
| Mistake | Result | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| 🟡 Setting all products high | Sorting loses meaning | Only adjust key products |
| 🔴 Product not published | Frontend does not show it | Publish the product first |
| 🔴 Product click shows 404 | Visitors cannot open details | Check Detail Page |
| 🟡 Too many featured products | Homepage gets too long | Show key products first |
