Product Categories
Product categories decide how users browse your products, and they affect the home-page category module, product-list filtering, and SEO links. On a new site, start with the main categories â don't go too granular at once.
Recommended flowâ
Create a categoryâ
In the site admin, open:
Products -> Categories
Click the plus to create a category. Categories can be multi-level, and the six-dot handle on the left lets you drag to reorder.

Set the slugâ
The slug is the English identifier in a category link. After entering a name, the system may auto-generate a slug â but always review it.
Good:
Category name: Wireless Earphones
Slug: wireless-earphones
Avoid:
Slug: 1780400083056
Slug: chanpin
Slug: fenlei1
A clear slug lets users and search engines understand what the link is.
Check the front-end category linkâ
After saving, go to the front-end product page /products, click the category, and copy the link from the browser address bar.
A category link usually looks like:
https://www.allincms.com/products?category=wireless-earphones
You can reuse this link later for nav menus, button targets, and home-page modules.

Tips for new usersâ
- Start with 2 to 3 main categories.
- Put 2 representative products in each category first.
- Use English your target customers understand for category names.
- Don't launch with temporary slugs like
fenlei1ortest.
