Site Icon and Notification Email
💡 In this guide, you will upload the browser site icon and enter the email address used for site notifications. Estimated time: 3 minutes.
The site icon appears in browser tabs and bookmarks. The notification email receives system messages such as form submissions. Set both early so later testing is easier.
Find the page first
Path: AllinCMS Workspace site list → Target site → Enter Admin → Settings → Site Info

If the left sidebar already shows items such as Products, Posts, and Themes, you are inside the site admin. Scroll down to Settings, then click Site Info.
Overview
1. Open Site Info
From the Workspace dashboard, click Sites in the left sidebar. Find the target site and click Enter Admin. In the site admin, find the Settings area in the left sidebar and click Site Info.
This page manages basic site information, including the site name, description, browser icon, and notification email.
2. Set Site Icon
Upload the site icon in the Favicon area. This icon is used as the browser site mark when visitors open or bookmark the website.
Recommendations:
- Use a clear brand logo or simplified icon.
- Keep the image square when possible.
- Avoid images with too much text or detail, because small browser icons can become hard to read.
The site icon also follows image rules. If you are not sure about icon size, read the Favicon section in Image Guidelines. Simpler icons stay clearer at small sizes.
After uploading, save the settings and open the live site to check whether the browser tab shows the new icon.
3. Set Notification Email
Enter the receiving email address in Notification Email.
Example:
501111111@qq.com
This email is usually used for form submission notifications. When a visitor submits an inquiry form, the system sends the notification to this address.
Do not enter an inactive, misspelled, or unmonitored email address. After saving, submit a test form to confirm the email is received.
4. Save Settings
After setting the icon and notification email, click Save.
Then run two quick checks:
- Open the live site and check whether the browser tab icon updates.
- Submit a test form and check whether the notification email receives the message.
Pitfalls
| Mistake | Result | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| Icon is too complex | Browser tab icon is unclear | Use a simple logo or graphic |
| Email is misspelled | Form notices are not received | Check the full email before saving |
| Not testing after setup | Missed notifications are found too late | Submit one test form |
